We pay attention to the fine tradition of teaching and continue to carry forward. The college now consists of the Department of Electronic Engineering, the Department of Electronic Science, the Department of Microelectronics and Integrated Circuits, and the Institute of Electromagnetic Acoustics. The college has doctoral programs and postdoctoral stations in the first-level disciplines of electronic science and technology, which can recruit academic master students, doctoral students and post-doctoral students in electronic science and technology first-level disciplines; it has a professional master degree authorization station in electronic and communication engineering.

There are five undergraduate majors in the discipline, namely: Electronic Information Engineering, electronic information science and technology, microelectronics science and engineering, integrated circuit design and integrated system, electromagnetic field and wireless technology. Among them, the major of electronic information engineering was selected as the national first-class undergraduate major construction site in 2019; the major of electronic information science and technology was selected as the excellent engineer education and training plan of the Ministry of education in 2013 and the first-class undergraduate major construction site of Fujian Province in 2019; the major of Microelectronics science and engineering was selected as the characteristic undergraduate major of Fujian Province in 2007; the major of integrated circuit design and integrated system was selected as Fujian Province in 2016 Provincial characteristic undergraduate major.
